Are your cookies peanut free?
Although I can never 100% guarantee this, the cookies do not contain any peanut or tree nut ingredients and are made in a peanut and tree nut free kitchen, as I have a severe nut allergy myself!
How long are your cookies good for?
Decorated sugar cookies are always best eaten as soon as possible, but they will stay fresh in a closed container in a cool, dry place for 1-2 weeks. Avoid storing in the refrigerator as condensation may damage the design. Sugar cookies also freeze relatively well when placed in freezer safe bags for up to 3 months. Ensure cookies are thawed at room temperature and not in the refrigerator to avoid condensation.
How much advance notice do you need for an order?
I require at least 7-10 days advance notice for an order. Of course, the more in advance the better, as more time may be needed to agree upon a design.
What forms of payment to you accept?
I accept cash on the day of pickup, or payment by Interac e-Transfer made up to the day prior to the pickup date.
Do you make gluten free cookies?
Yes, I do! Check them out here.
However, please note that the cookies are prepared in a kitchen that uses wheat products.
Do you deliver?
Unfortunately, at present I cannot offer delivery outside of the Downtown Kingston area. Orders can be picked up.
Do you make cupcakes?
I do not currently offer cupcakes or cakes on a regular basis. However, I have been known to decorate cupcakes and cakes in the past and am open to making them by special request only. Contact me here.
Your cookies are quite expensive!
Each cookie is hand decorated and the process can be quite time consuming, depending on the design. You can watch a quick clip of me at work here (at 4x speed!).
The cookies are actually priced on par or lower than what local bakeries are charging for custom decorated cookies.
